Believe it or not there are a wide range of locations in and around the Denver area that are perfect for Senior sessions. Whether you want natural Colorado scenery, urban vibes or a mix of both, there is something for everyone. Here is a list of Senior session locations near Denver, Colorado.

Senior Session Locations in Downtown Denver area

• Union Station – This offers a fun indoor stop with a cool coffee shop. All of which is downtown Denver to get tons of variety at your senior session.
• Milk Market – This area has some fun graffiti walls and a pretty cool parking garage that is perfect at golden hour.
• Colfax ave – There are numerous walls that offer a unique urban background with all the graffiti art.
• Botanical Gardens – There is a photography permit that is required of $100 but is a beautiful and unique spot for senior portraits in Denver.
• Washington Park – With a little pond at the center there is a small manicured flower garden that makes for a great setting as well.

Senior Session locations near Denver

• Heritage Lakewood – This location is also a museum but it houses numerous fun historical recreated buildings and this location also has a pond. If you wanted a mix of some retro or old buildings, tall grass and water. This is your spot.
• Red Rocks – It is easier than you think to have your portraits taken at Red Rocks. First, we will just have to check their calendar to ensure we won’t plan your session on the same day of a planned event. Then, we just have to abide by the walking trails, paved walkways, etc. We can get some beautiful shots at Red Rocks.
• Bear Creek Lake Park – About a 15 min drive from Red Rocks. This location offers beautiful views of the mountains, natural grasses and a lake. There is an entrance fee to get into the area but it is well worth it.
• Matthews/ Winters Park – North of Red Rocks this location is right on the foothills. We have to be careful to plan ahead, since it sits right on the hills the sun sets earlier in this area. So if you want that beautiful golden light we will have to show up a little earlier than normal.
• Crown Hill Park – Another park near Denver that offers views of the Mountain skyline, a lake and natural grasses.
• Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge
• Colorado Railroad Museum – For a unique session, this one is for you. This location does have an entrance fee but there are several different unique locomotive cars. Some of them you can even go inside.
