I hope you all are having a Happy National Potato Chip Day today! Today I wanted to share a fun childhood memory and some of my favorite Lays Potato Chip flavors! So whenever I have an excuse to stock up on my favorite junk foods… I do it!
Don’t worry no cat babies ate any chips in the creation of this post!
Childhood Memory
When I was a child, my brother and I used to spend the days at our Grandma and Grandpa Lucero’s house. I loved their house, my grandma had quite a few houseplants, a huge backyard and 2 pet frogs. My grandma was obsessed with the frogs the way I was obsessed with Tigger! Something you may not know about me but as a child I was LITERALLY the pickiest eater! My food requests consisted of hamburgers, french fries, pickles and chips. Of course at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, I got just that!
I can fondly remember my grandparents opening a fresh bag of Lays Classic Potato Chips, my favorite, and giving me a jar of dill pickles… Also my favorite. Another quirky fact about me, is my mouth salivates at the thought of pickles, I will eat an entire jar in one sitting and I save the pickle juice to drink. CJ has questioned many of times why a jar of pickle juice still sits in the fridge with no pickles. Often times though as a child this was a consistent meal at my grandparents… No complaints here. I was living my best life. This little memory, as simple as it is, are things that still fill me with joy and gratitude to have two grandparents that cared for me, loved me and clearly spoiled me. These are fun memories I have of them and get to share about them.

So now in honor of this Happy National Potato Chip Day post, I shall share my favorite flavors in order. Unfortunately, not pictured here is the Dill Pickle flavor and all SIX stores I went to, didn’t have it. LAME!
