Must Have Cheatsheets for Beginning Photographers

must have cheatsheets for beginning photographers, learning photography in denver, beginning photography in colorado, beginning photography in denver

These must have cheatsheets for beginning photographers are perfect for beginning photographers looking to learn manual mode.

So why manual mode? Creative control is the main reason why I recommend shooting in manual mode. This in my opinion is one of the best ways to learn your camera and settings confidently. Secondly, when shooting in tricky lighting situations, manual mode will still allow you to shoot. Often times auto mode on your camera will not function properly because it is having a hard time adjusting in the limited light situation.

So how to use these cheatsheets? Go through the Manual 101 sheets and learn about aperture, ISO, shutter speed and exposure. From there you will want to learn how you can control these functions on your camera. Learn where they are and how to easily adjust them when you are out and about shooting. Once you have learned how to operate your camera’s functions, get out and start shooting. Not all your images are going to be perfect but as you are out shooting reference the “Troubleshoot” section of the cheatsheets. From there you can adjust your settings accordingly using the Troubleshoot cheatsheet.
