Karissa and Jacob’s wedding took place at The White Barn at Happy Valley in Nampa, Idaho on September 14th, 2019. This day so special from every little detail to every one of their guests in attendance.

In Karissa and Jacob’s wedding highlight film you will see the arch they stood in front of during their ceremony. Karissa’s dad hand built this arch and transported it all they way from Colorado. Every single detail of their day was so intentional and beautiful. Jacob’s dad officiated the wedding and Karissa’s Step Dad prayed over them during their ceremony and dinner. I was honored to have had the opportunity to capture and film their special day.

Tips on Booking a Destination Photographer and Videographer for your White Barn at Happy Valley Wedding

+ You will want to ensure that your photographer and/or videographer is arriving into town at least the day before your event. This will help in the event of delayed or cancelled flights. Especially due to circumstances outside of the vendors control. This also allows the vendor time to scope out the venue beforehand. When booking my travel accommodations for Jacob and Karissa’s day I made sure I got in early the day before their wedding. I found a nearby coffee shop in downtown Boise, Idado to get some work done at before checking into my hotel in Nampa, Idaho. It was such a relaxing way to spend my travel day!

+ Ask for flight information. It is totally fine to ask for flight numbers and estimated arrival times. Most seasoned destination vendors will send this information to you along with final details!

+ Plan ahead for other services opportunities. Be sure to think about if you want them present at your rehearsal dinner or if you want a session done the day before. Deciding this before they book any travel will make your life so much more easier!
